Glenturret ligt in de Midlands van Schotland en claimt de oudste distilleerderij te zijn.Het is de meest bezochte distilleerderij en tevens bekend om de beroemdste kat van Schotland n.l. Towser. Deze kat ving in zijn 24 jarig leven 28.899 muizen en staat daarmee in het guiness Book of records en heeft een standbeeld bij de distilleerderij.
